The Beginning: Wanting to Be a Witch

 Where it All Started


Hi, let me introduce myself I am Lady Black Fox and I am here to tell you about the start of my journey which will be posted below.

    
    I will be giving credit to a best friend of mine who I will not name for their own privacy whom I have worked with for a while, once I saw that she was getting into the witchy type of stuff it felt as if something inside of me woke up. Like a calling, it took me a bit to listen to this calling though because I wasn't sure if it was real or not. Like my mind was playing a trick on me. But it kept growing stronger and the more my best friend talked about how she was progressing by starting off with using crystals for healing properties it made me realize that this could help me out. I didn't start off like others who get into being a witch (at least I'm sure of it) but instead of getting the books and starting off that way, I started off with using crystals and learning about what they do. Stuck with getting them and using them for their magical properties to help out with some struggles I have. I then began to express more interest in doing more than using crystals. See the thing is I wasn't even sure where to begin with all of it, I then started to collect books that drew my interest to help me learn more about becoming a witch but let me tell you it was like getting blasted with bricks mostly because of the information. I will be honest I still don't know what I am doing but you'll see more about that stuff down the road, I'm hoping that during this journey I will be able to progress and feel like I am actually becoming what I feel is my calling.  Things I have tried out so far and got the feel of though are practicing with tarot cards, using crystals, making spell jars, and meditation to communicate with your spirit guide. I have a lot to learn and I just hate that I feel like I am a failure at being a witch so far. I just hope that I can stop feeling like I am stumbling around in a dark room trying to find a light switch. So, hopefully, with blogging out my journey I can reach out to the crowd for some help! Also, anyone out there going through the same journey or even has more experience feel free to comment/give out some advice to help each other out. I hope that one day when I feel like I have a grasp of everything I will be able to help those who are stuck like me.
